WINGATE, N.C. -- Wingate University picked up its first-ever NCAA Division II volleyball post-season victory, blanking Anderson University 3-0 in the opening round of the Southeast Regional Friday night in the Cuddy Arena.

Big Week for JV Men's Basketball

This has been a big week for the JV men’s Basketball team with two home games in the Abney Center on Monday and Thursday. On Monday the team played Oxford College, a junior college on the out skirts of Atlanta, and WON!! This win marks the first for the program in recent memory. The Trojan attack was led by a strong 20 point performance from Andrew Driver followed by a steady 11 point performance from Tony Strange.

Lander Edges Anderson, 79-70

GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Houston Wright paced Lander offensively while Curtis Milner was the defensive leader as the Bearcats won their season opener 79-70 over Anderson University in a non-conference game Wednesday night at Horne Arena.
