Awards Handed Out At Athletic Honors Night
April 28, 2007ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University athletic department held its annual awards night Saturday at the Henderson Auditorium on the AU campus. In addition to handing out awards in all sports, the school celebrated winning the Jody Hawn Cup (the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference all-sports trophy) and the return of the Beville Cup from Erskine College. Anderson beat Erskine in the annual head-to-head competition in 2006-07. Deidra Langston of the women’s basketball team was named Anderson University Athlete of the Year.
