Bishoff Places 69th at NCAA National Championships
November 19, 2011SPOKANE, Wash. – Making her third career appearance in the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship, Anderson University senior Whitney Bishoff garnered a 69-place finish in the 2011 event Saturday afternoon at the Plantes Ferry Athletic Complex.
Bishoff completed the wet, snowy 6K event in a time of 23:07.9.
She made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in 2008 and 2009, earning All-America status with a 25th-place finish at the 2009 NCAA National Championships in Evansville, Indiana. She posted a 68th-place finish on the national scene in 2008.
She holds the school record in both the 5k (17:31.15) set at the UNC Charlotte Invitational earlier this season and the 6k (21:26.4).
