Women's Basketball Adds Exhibition Contest at Wake Forest
August 16, 2012ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University head women’s basketball coach Jim Brunelli has announced that the Trojans will visit Wake Forest for an exhibition game scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29, at Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Wake Forest played host to a pair of fellow South Atlantic Conference members in exhibition games last season, topping Lenoir-Rhyne, 102-39, and Tusculum, 65-40, in early November en route to posting a 20-14 overall record and going 7-9 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Deacons went on to advance to the second round of the 2012 Women’s NIT before falling, 84-76, to James Madison.
