Telhada Earns Additional Accolades

EDMOND, Okla. – Anderson junior Dan Telhada continues to garner national attention in the weeks leading up to the 2012 wrestling season, as the 149-pounder is ranked sixth in his weight class by the Division II Wrestling Coaches Association.

The native of Franklin, Mass., was also ranked sixth nationally by d2wrestle.com in the online publication’s preseason poll in September. Telhada made an appearance in last year’s NCAA National Championships, falling just one win shy of earning All-America status last season, earning two victories in the championships.

Anderson opens the season at the University of Virginia Duals versus Ohio, Chattanooga and the host Cavaliers on Nov. 3.
