ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson University men's and women's basketball team spent a morning with a group of 4-year olds at North Pointe Elementary in Anderson this past week.
Members of both teams demonstrated basketball skills that correlated with the 4-year old class's recent lesson. The eager student's had been learning about muscles, balls, forces and how to move the ball faster.
Anderson Athletics partners with many organizations throughout the year in order to actively engage with the community.
Anderson men's and women's basketball will open its 2017 campaign on November 10. Anderson men will face off with Southern Wesleyan in the Conference Challenge at 7:30 p.m. while the Anderson women will open up with Clayton State at the Conference Challenge hosted by Wingate. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.
