Ellie Nieporte (Boca Raton, Fla.) hit a career milestone of 2,000 assists in a sweep over UVA Wise (12-11, 6-8 SAC) by scores of 25-14, 25-10 and 25-19. The Trojans also honored seniors
Katy Smith (Fleming Island, Fla.) and
Kaitlyn Barrett (Inman, S.C.) for their contributions to the program.
"Our overall play tonight was a little sharper and more on point than last night," head coach
Todd Hay said. "Offensively, we were balanced and the defense was really fighting hard on each point. Hopefully, we can continue to build on this going forward."
Nieporte ran her offense efficiently with 37 assists, eight digs and two aces. The junior ranks third in the SAC for assists per set with 9.64.

Ava Reeves (Lexington, S.C.) came up with 12 kills for the second-straight on a .364 clip.
Junior
Emily Campbell (Statesville, N.C.) had nine kills with no errors for a .563 hitting percentage. She came up with the Trojans' only block of the night.
Freshman
Mikaylah Hedlund (Fountain Inn, S.C.) came up with six kills and a career-high four aces.

Jamie Juhnevicz (Taylors, S.C.) was solid on defense with 19 digs.
The Trojans opened set one on a 9-3 run to force a Cavaliers timeout. The runs continued as Anderson cruised to the 25-14 in the opening set. The offense was swinging at a .393 hitting percentage through the first 25 points.
The second set was much of the same as the Trojans flew to a 15-5 lead and maintained it for an easy 25-10 win. Anderson was hitting at a .419 clip through two sets and holding UVA Wise to .186.
The Cavaliers came out with energy in the third set and the Trojans had to work to tie things up at seven. It was back and forth until Anderson went up 15-11 to force a UVA Wise timeout and eventually get the 25-19 win.
The Trojans stay home early next week when they host Coker University on Tuesday, Nov. 4th at 7 p.m. Anderson got a 3-0 win over the Cobras earlier this season.
